• A pilot project for provision of solar powered LED lights for off-grid tribal households under the auspices of University of Calgary followed by another similar project for the same university and CEC
  • A watershed development project for augmenting groundwater resources for drinking water, by Speck Systems Ltd., for the Public Health Engineering Department, Chhatisgarh, India, where ThinkSoft collaborated in developing a methodology involving the use of remote sensing data in conjunction with participatory appraisal at the community level.
  • A project for Environment Protection Training and Research Institute (EPTRI), in a Chenchu (classified as a Primitive Tribal Group [PTG]) habitation, involving installations of solar equipments (including lanterns, driers and a television), in the field, and providing handholding and training support to the community, both in the use of the equipments, as well as conjunctive activities.
  • A project for Light Up the World Foundation (LUTW); pioneers in the use of White Light Emitting Diodes (WLEDs) along with renewable energy as an off-grid lighting solution for the poor in remote areas. The project consisted of implementing the solution in 80 households, study the impact and also design a scheme whereby these systems could be offered on a deferred payment basis by Micro Finance Institutions (MFIs).
